The sub-sections below feature the American Studies Web, the online Encyclopedia of American Studies, a discussion about theory and method in the discipline, as well as a link to UVA's Electronic Text Center.

• American Studies Web

  The American Studies Web is the largest bibliography of web-based resources in the field of American Studies. The editors have established a series of categories to help guide your search.

• Encyclopedia of American Studies

  The Encyclopedia of American Studies features more than 660 articles covering topics such as United States history, literature, art, urban studies, ethnicity, gender, race, economics and politics. This interdisciplinary reference is free to members of the American Studies Association.

• Theory & Method in American Studies

  This bibliography, compiled by Washington State University's Program in American Studies, provides an introduction to work on theory and method in American cultural studies.

• Electronic Text Center at UVA

  The University of Virginia's Electronic Text Center contains an online archive of digital texts and images for use in humanities scholarship.
